Small trees:Leaves 3-5 x 2 cm, oblanceolate, apex obtuse, base acute; petiole to 7 mm:Flowers axillary, solitary or paired, pedicels to 2.2 cm, tomentose; calyx tube 4 mm, campanulate, lobes 4, 5 mm across, orbicular, tomentose, glabrous within; petals 10 mm across, orbicular, white; filaments to 8 mm; disc broad:Fruit is a  Berry 7 mm across, globose, rusty, crowned with persistent calyx
