Trees, leaves simple, alternate, estipulate; petiole 4-7 mm long, slender, glabrous when mature; lamina 2-10 x 2-3.5 cm, rhomboid, base attenuate or cuneate, apex acuminate, acute or obtuse, margin entire or very obscurely crenulate, recurved, glabrous, with scattered brown glands on both sides, flowers pinkish-white, in axillary compound umbellate cymes; fruit a red berry, 5-6 mm across.
