Leaves alternate, oblong-lanceolate, to 15 x 7 cm, chartaceous; base truncate, margin double-serrate, apex caudate-acuminate; petiole 1.5 cm, with 2 raised glands towards the apex near the leaf-base; stipules subulate, 1.5 cm, glandular-laciniate, flowers 4 cm wide, white turning pink; drupe ovoid, red when ripe; seed 1.
