Behaviour
Jungle cat can hunt animals much larger than itself, such as porcupines or Chital fawn. However, it can also subsist on very small prey such as lizards, small snakes, mice, rats etc.
Body Features
Jungle cat is buff or grey-brown and unmarked except for faint red stripes running across the forehead and on the outer surface of the legs. The fur has black tips, giving the cat a grizzled look. The face is slim and the muzzle has some white on it. Its eyes are ringed with white, with a dark tear stripe running down the cheek. Medium sized, perked-up ears have a reddish back and have short black tufts of hair on the tip.
